The Plant
The Plant is the creative innovator who comes up with new ideas and approaches. Creative and inventive individuals, Plants are the ones in the team most likely to come up with new ideas and suggestions.
The name comes from Dr Belbin’s original research. It was discovered that there was no initial spark of an idea in a team unless a creative person was “planted” in each team. Plants can tackle complex problems in new and interesting ways.
We are lateral thinkers who can provide imaginative and original lines of thought when the team is stuck for ideas.

They focus on what is feasible, and then get on with the task at hand.
No stranger to a spreadsheet or Gantt chart, we tend to tackle work in a systematic, methodical fashion that ensures maximum efficiency.
Implementers are reliable and disciplined members of the team and are useful to an organisation because of their inclination and capacity to do whatever work needs to be done.
Typically, Implementers are recognised for their loyalty to the organisation in which they work,
also referred to as ‘Company Workers’.
